Who is your favorite designers and why?
I like Yosuke Aizawa of 'White Mountaineering'.He was one of the 4 original designers to create Junya Watanabe for Comme Des Garcons.His designs are simple yet very eccentric in textiles and fabric.He doesn't fit the mold, but recently I feel the mold is trying to fit him.
What is your favorite piece of clothing in your closet?
Hmm, thats a hard one.I have an off yellow Dries Van Noten Summer trench thats really interesting.The back drapes in a very interesting way.
When did you start liking clothes?
Probably during the early eighties,when my older brother turned me on to New Wave and skate punk style and music.
What is on your wish list?
A pair of semi recent Kris Van Aschee tennis shoes, Bernhard Willhelm sandals and a 3 year old White Mountaineering back pack designed by Porter.The back pack is the priority of the three..
Do you like shirt, jacket, pants or shoes more?
Shoes, but only when it can relate to the rest of the pieces well. Its like the icing on the cake.
