Joann and Christine of Marc Jacobs on Maiden Lane look fabulous from head to toe in all Marc Jacobs! I love the grey ruffle dress and the skirt shorts with crepe de chine blouse. For a few minutes I felt I was in the Upper East Side of Manhattan in NYC with Joann and Christine.

Handsome Matt looks good in his suit, polished and brave to wear a wool suit on a hot day! I like how he created contrast with his necktie and suit. Instantly I was struck by the colour of his tie.

There is something about suits that I love, something so complete, so simple, dashing with a splash of professionalism. No fuss, the drape and look does it all in one. Once I helped someone out to buy a light brown flannel pinstripe suit, he looked great in it and made such an impression on his family reunion. I felt for the first time they saw stability in him. What an impact..huh?

Tony a Fashion Designer is wearing one of his creations, a linen jacket with a collar that converts to a scarf by unsnapping the back. Very cool shorts too! Reminds of Belgium/Asian designs. Love organic concepts i.e. fall and cut of material that looks natural.

Parker, she is wearing black crinkley evening dress by Bebe. Cool material by the way.

Louis Vuitton

I'm not a huge fan of logos but I do like this Louis Vuitton "Bobby" bag. This bag is discontinued. The embossing and understated style of the bag has a yummy quality. When I was in Paris in the Marais, I was eating in this rude Vietnamese restaurant one day, this guy across from me had this Bobby bag around his chest while sitting next to a French bull dog. I kept staring at it because I couldn't believe this bag was LV and laughing by seeing this bull dog.

Robe Noir avec Blanc

Mary is wearing a lightweight sheer black dress with white underlay that's a great way to stay cool during this heatwave as well as style. The boots with the pink lining is nice accenting. 

Morning Commute

This morning I saw this suit that has a cool texture to it. The skirt is interesting with the cut panels. Of course, can't go wrong with the colour black.

Real Men Wear Skirts

Cute Seth is wearing an olive green skirt that drapes well. He says he's so comfortable in this during hot days. 

Personally, I like men in skirts as long as they look good in them like Seth. I wonder if he has a pinstripe skirt?

Robert Geller

I just found this overcoat online that rocks! Love the detailing by Robert Geller. 

I was discussing recently how now there's a force of good designs coming out now. Not since the 80's the designs have been so-so. Now I feel satisfied that cool designs are finally created instead of let's-be-safe-so-it'll-sell attitude. Actually if great designs come out, they will sell for their signature look that people want and recognize!

Balmy Night

So nice to be walking around tonight. At Rolo there is this jacket that's made of tarp-like material with a coating...and double breasted. Kinda cool.

Lunchtime

I really like this pattern on her skirt. I thought this is something very Miu Miu or Prada in design. I like that she's wearing chocolate brown hose as well. Lately I'm really impressed with Prada/Miu Miu designs these days with her geeky refined concept.
